The launch screen, which does not need login information, shows the actual product in use as well as a logo I developed for this technical products company.
The client loved the "light saber" display which allows accurate tank levels even at a distance or in bright sunlight.
Settings are highly important in this application. The company owner provided a verbal description of his needs as well as a spreadsheet containing a few numbers. I translated this information into an interface he loved.
I also suggested that rarely-used functions be relegated to a setup page, further simplifying the interface.
